I am an Electronic and Telecommunications Engineer, M.Sc. in Electronics and Telecommunications (Robotics), and Ph.D. in Electronic Sciences from Universidad del Cauca. A Data Analyst and academic with 20+ years of university teaching and research, I work at the intersection of machine learning, deep learning, and computational imaging, signal processing, and natural language processing. My scholarship focuses on turning complex data into actionable evidence for organizations, learning analytics, and scientific discovery. I have contributed to multiple research projects and peer-reviewed publications in indexed journals and international conferences. In the classroom and the lab, I guide the full data lifecycle—from experimental design and data curation to modeling, evaluation, and visualization—emphasizing reproducibility, ethical practice, and measurable impact.
